Injuries and Vile Deeds

Injuries and Vile Deeds contains two Injuries systems - one for PCs and one for their enemies - and new character options including 12 subclasses and nearly 200 feats, items, spells, truly villainous NPCs, and terrifying monsters with mechanics designed to make full use of the Injuries systems.

Access to powerful healing spells in combination with the desire to avoid unremarkable character death often means players lose a sense of the dangerous nature of combat, and some characters may seem invincible. The PC Injury system restores the threat of combat, while the monster and NPC Injury system makes slaying foes more cinematic than ever before. These systems work well for almost any group or genre, and have guidelines for adjustments based on the amount and difficulty of combat you expect to see, whether you play in a highly political, intrigue game or a heroic, monster-slaying one.
